The official blurb:

(Ages 15+) Bellydance, also known as “raqs sharqi” and “danse orientale,” is known for toning and shaping the body. Join us as we learn basic technique and get a fun workout at the same time! Each class includes a warmup and cooldown, and teaches basic slow and fast dance movements that are the foundation of this dance form. No previous dance experience is necessary.

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in, such as leotards; tank tops and shorts, yoga pants or leggings. We will be doing some conditioning on the floor, so if you choose to wear a broomstick skirt, please wear leggings beneath it. You may dance barefoot or in soft dance slippers.

The twelve week course is divided into two seven-class sessions. Join us for either one or both.

Continuing bellydance take beginning bellydance a step futher, concentrating on more control over muscle isolations, and focussing on transitions and fluidity. In addition we begin learning to play zils (finger cymbals). Finger cymbals will be available to borrow or purchase.

Bellydance Workout

Call Super B’s at 910-897-4144 for pricing and reservations. Space is limited and fills up fast!

The official blurb:

Join this fun, lowimpact cardio workout!

Bellydance tones muscles and builds strength throughout the body. Because it uses natural movements and your own body as resistance, it is less stressful than other dance forms as well as other forms of exercise.

So grab a friend and come wearing comfortable clothing that you can move in. You can dance barefoot or in ballet
slippers, whichever is more comfortable for you.
